Project Overview
My client a business coach needed her website landing page re-designed to align with another website of hers and to feel aligned with her brand.
Process and My Role
I was the lead designer on this project, my finalized design was sent to the clients existing web developer to implement the design. Held meetings with the client and got all the information I needed to match the landing page with her vision. With that information I iterated designs in Figma and we chose a path forward.
Challenge and Solution
The challenge here was to improve the messaging and design aesthetic that was more aligned with one of her existing websites. The solution consisted of using design elements like circles and ‘read’, ‘lead’, ‘inspire’ from the existing website. used content groupings that clarified her messaging and adding more spacing and ‘air’ to the content to feel lighter.
Results and Learnings
Learned what questions to ask to get a good idea of a clients vision and the value of prepping before meetings which i did. The client was very happy with the re-design and it has since led to more opportunities for web work.
