Project Overview
This was a discovery project for me when learning about jQuery. I’ve always been interested how I could use code to create some animated and randomized lettering that I can pair to music.
Here is how it turned out.
Process and My Role
While working on a lab I found a custom script called ‘Text Rotator’, which you can find here. I immediately got struck with inspiration and came up with words, a matrix theme, and found some emotional music.
Challenge and Solution
The challenge was to add my own words and make it my own. I changed some of the parameters to play with the randomness and how long it takes to fade in and out.
Results and Learnings
Overall this was my first foray into Creative Coding which I plan to do alot more of and showcase my poetry through this medium. I learned that any medium can be creative.
